About The Hearts Project

Our Pillars for the Hearts

The Hearts Project began as a memorial to honor lives lost to COVID-19 in Arkansas. Very quickly, it grew into something greater, an effort that brought people together through art and remembrance. What started as a tribute for the future became a living expression of community, has led to the creation of a nonprofit organization, which we are now in the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) status.
Along the way, the project inspired others to create their own works of art. One exhibit by members of Life Styles in Northwest Arkansas moved the founders so deeply that the entire collection was purchased, becoming a cherished new chapter in The Hearts Project.

Today, The Hearts Project stands on three guiding pillars, each rooted in creativity, compassion, and the shared desire to honor lives through art.
