Artistry of Every Ability
The clients at Life Styles in Springdale, Arkansas, an organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to lead meaningful lives, brought their own voices to The Hearts Project. Through paint, color, and imagination, they created a collection of artwork that beautifully reflects resilience, community, and hope.
The display of their work alongside the framed hearts at the exhibit added a profoundly human dimension, showing how art can bridge experiences and speak across boundaries. The project’s founders were so moved by the creativity and spirit of these artists that she and her husband purchased the entire collection, ensuring it will remain a cherished part of future exhibits.

The way how covid effect me. I was closed to my cousin in Syeracuse, New York. He was home in New York and he was showing signs of covid-19. And then he was rushed to Brooklyn Memorial Hospital and they rushed him straight to I.C.U. and he had some good days and bad days. Unfortunately, he passed away on April 4, 2020 from complications due to covid-19.
I also another cousin from Miami, Florida due to covid-19. She passed away at home due to her symptoms of covid-19. She was the light of our family party. She was a great cousin to me.
I also have a lot of family members who have a covid scare. But by the Grace of God my family had survive through it all.
Another covid incident was my family was having a family reunion in Hartville, Connecticut and everybody was having fun in the park for three days and everybody my whole entire family got sick from covid-19.”
