Add Your Story to The Hearts Project

We are using this form to collect anonymous stories about how COVID-19 has impacted people’s lives, both during the height of the pandemic and in the years afterward. Your story can be big or small—about loss, resilience, community, isolation, hope, or anything that feels meaningful to you.

Your response will help expand The Hearts Project, a public art and storytelling initiative created to honor lives affected by COVID-19 and preserve memories that are often missing from historical narratives. The project's mural-sized, quilt-styled paper collage art featuring 2,700 hand-cut paper hearts, each representing a life lost in Arkansas, now includes a digital space where personal stories can live and continue to be shared.

By contributing, you help ensure that the human impact of COVID-19 is not forgotten. All submissions are anonymous unless you choose otherwise.

Thank you for sharing your story.

You will have the option, at the end of this form, to let us know if you prefer to remain anonymous or if we can share your name.

a moment you can’t forget, something that changed your life, an experience of loss or hope, something you lived through that you feel should be remembered.
Did you lose someone to COVID-19?
If you would like to honor someone, you may share their name, initials, or a short message.
May we add your story to The Hearts Project?
